as a member of this mighty nation of Christianity, you are my brothers and sisters.  Please take me up on this offer…

If you are ever traveling through Harlingen Texas, or Matamoros Mexico and need a place to stay you can stay at my house.

anyone else care to make the same offer?

Pass this list on to others.  Lets see if we can places to stay in every state!

need not

Just a thought that needs not comment.

Are we more in love with God Himself, or the idea of loving Him?

Is Christ the focus, or are we drawn more to the heritage, lifestyle, idea of being Christian?

Be encouraged today our friends!

start/stop

This is a two part question..

1. Where did your journey with Christ take you this week. In what ways do you ensue battle?

2. Do you think in blocked categories of time (like a week) or is more linear without multiple starts and stops?

this journey

Why are you on this journey from Christianity to Christ?

the crap

Often times I catch myself in a recurring thought.  The thought is actually a question I ask myself… ‘Would I not only give God permission (like He needs that), but also hold it in high honor that He would show the world His love by illuminating my shortcoming, my failures, my crap?’  Here’s a brief explanation of this thought,  I used to dream of winning MVP of the Superbowl in which I’d promptly respond for millions to hear, “I’d like to thank Jesus Christ my Lord and King”.  I’ve also been very proud in the fact that people could look into my life and see no real glaring mistake and say they want to be like me and it seems I have it all together…again pointing to the love of God.  Through the good times, the good things it’s easy to be a light to this dark world.  Again to the question, would you count it an honor if the best way you could serve our King would be to have the ugliest, dirtiest, darkest, hidden, unattractive areas of your life shown to the world with no illumination on anything positive?

Please don’t respond to this post yet.

Let this though simmer in your thoughts for a while, let if find root in your day to day life.

We’d love to journey with you on this topic whenever you’re ready.

Messiahship.

We are in search for people who want to journey together in a relationship of thought, digestion, and application.  We submit to you a question in which we pray you will take the week to think of from every direction, chew on day and night, and begin to apply in your life.  May we think on God together?  Please share your thoughts.

March 2nd-8th thought to journey together on:

What does the word “Messiahship” mean?

Who holds that position?

What relationship do you have to that position?

What changes in your daily life when this word finds it’s way to your heart?

New Direction for www.openapologies.org

In a world of ever mounting “staccato” in every aspect of life, we are concerned the art of “legato” is being lost.  We are taking a stand against the quick and easy fast moving blogs, for a slower, thought over, prayed over, digested, talked over journey in which we all journey together on.  With this we present the thought for this week, in which we hope you think on and comment on as we will be doing the same.  Over this topic, this week, we pray it finds it’s home in our “legato” everyday lives and thoughts.

February 23-27 thought to journey together on:

What ways have you surrendered to “staccato” in your relationship with other people and with God?
